Alternatively, Shinsaibashi is also popular and has a great central location, plenty of great dining options and its famous long-covered shopping street or Osaka Castle for its history, charm and green spaces.

Where are the coolest districts in the city?

Some of the most hipster-friendly spots include Dotonbori with is famed for its neon lights, giant billboards and great street food. America-Mura is a trendy place with a youthful vibe, vintage boutiques, hip cafes and great street art and so is Kitashinchi if you’re into more upscale entertainment and boutiques.

How much do hotels cost in Osaka?

Compared to Tokyo, Osaka is a more affordable city to stay. Prices for lower-starred hotels start from $30 a night.

How do you get there?
